Carle Physician Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our growing Pulmonary Medicine Team in Urbana, Illinois.
Position details include:
Join a team of five Pulmonary physicians and one advanced practice provider
Typical schedule M-F/8am-5pm
Provide healthcare to patients with an emphasis on disease prevention, health promotion, health maintenance and supportive care
Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic studies
Seeks consultation with other health team members and coordinates multidisciplinary care
Provides and discusses treatment options with patient and family
Position includes blend of hospital rounding and consults as well as clinic, which is located adjacent to the hospital
Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant.
One year of APP clinical experience is preferred
Consideration for nursing in pulmonary or past Respiratory Therapist experience
Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse licensure/physician assistant licensure
