Position responsibilities include facilitating the interpretation of best practices, performance measures, and regulatory requirements as they relate to quality indicators and use of informatics in emergency nursing practice, providing strategic insight of the use of e-health initiatives or telemedicine and gives tactical guidance on the support structures needed for the implementation of clinical informatics programs into care, and serving as a content expert in the development, reporting and evaluation of clinical information key performance indicators to reduce variability in the clinical care of patients.
